The "Helpful Links" page provides links to other sites that may be helpful or interesting. I will update this page throughout the year. If you need to get in touch, check out the "Contact Me" page which will give you several options on how to stay in touch. Thanks for visiting! Take a look around and come back often, as I will update the schedule and assignments regularly. Important NotesWord Within the WordWe will be using The Word Within the Word in this class. However, the choice to purchase the manual is up to you. You will be given the word lists each week. If you would like to purchase the book, you can do so through the publisher or sites like Amazon. Make sure you purchase the Student Manual Volume 1 version. You will not need the book until September 17.
It is also optional to purchase novels that we will read as a class. Having your own novel is helpful because you can take it home, write notes in the margins, and highlight important parts. If you do not purchase a novel, there will be a copy available to you in class. 1st Novel- Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman 3rd Novel-Hatchet by Gary Paulsen*If you decide to purchase a book, Park Road Books gives Alexander Graham students a 15% discount with a coupon. * | AnnouncementsWow, it's hard to believe it's already the last week of school!Important Events this Week: 6/3: Field Day- Dreamers Team & Final Reading Log Due 6/5: Rewards Day! 6/5 & 6/6: Drama Presentations! 6/6: Final Assembly & 6th Grade Yearbook Signing 6/7: Last day of school!
